Tecno Phantom V Flip launched in India: Price, sale date and more

Tecno has launched its new foldable smartphone, the Tecno Phantom V Flip, in India. This clamshell design smartphone features a palm-sized 3D curved body and a premium leather back panel. It has a 6.9-inch internal display and is powered by a MediaTek Chipset.

The Tecno Phantom V Flip is priced at Rs 49,999 during the early bird sale period. It is available in two colors, Mystic Dawn and Iconic Black, and can be purchased online from Amazon.in starting October 1. Additionally, the company is offering a 12-month no-cost EMI option for customers buying the foldable smartphone.

In terms of specifications, the Tecno Phantom V Flip boasts a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display internally and a circular 1.32-inch AMOLED display externally. The internal display has a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The external display supports an Always-On feature and offers customization options.

The company claims that the Tecno Phantom V Flip is made with a combination of high-strength ultra-thin glass and a self-developed drop-shaped hinge, providing a crease-free experience. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset with 8GB of RAM and offers 8GB of virtual RAM support. The smartphone has 256GB of internal storage.

Running on Android 13.5 with the company’s customized HiOS layer, the Tecno Phantom V Flip guarantees 2 years of Android OS upgrades and 3 years of security updates. It also features stereo speakers and introduces Ella GPT 3.0, an advanced AI chatbot for engaging in natural conversations on various topics.

For photography, the Tecno Phantom V Flip has a dual rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor and a 13MP secondary camera. It also offers a 32MP front shooter for selfies. The device is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
